Important Skills for Kids…

by Mark Woodgate

There’s a few really important things you should teach your kids how to do.

  • Dial 911 (or 112 in the rest of the world)
  • Teach them to swim, it could be a lifesaver
  • Teach them first aid (see above !)
  • Make a meal for the family, so they’ll appreciate the time you take preparing theirs
  • Learn their name, address, and phone number, for emergencies
  • You can probably think of hundreds more, if you can, leave a comment and we’ll return to this in a later post.

What about self defense, money skills, anger management skills, and so on. Darn, there are a lot of things that we need to teach our kids. Oh boy…

    2. Erinn Says:

Even as important as to how to swim, if they fall into a pool to float on their backs to the stairs or wall and hang out and call for help!
